Terry McBride has enjoyed not only a long-lasting career but a multifaceted one as well. In the early 1990’s, he served as vocalist and bass player for McBride & the Ride, which scored chart smashes like “Sacred Ground,” “Just One Night,” and “Hurry Sundown.”
Following the breakup of the band, McBride became a top songwriter of note, penning “Play Something Country” for Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire’s “I Keep On Loving You” and others. He continued working with Brooks & Dunn as part of the duo’s live band.
Now, McBride enters yet another new phase of his career as a solo artist. His first solo project Hotels & Highways was released on Feb. 24, the same day he visited with Sports and Entertainment Nashville at Kitchen Notes restaurant during Country Radio Seminar.
You’ll find his insights into today’s music business, along with his colorful road stories, fascinating to hear.
