Entertainment, On A High Note

S&E Nashville CRS Interview: John Berry

John Berry is not only a Grammy-Award winning country star, he is also a “star” of a human being. Though famed and remembered for his hits “Your Love Amazes Me” or “What’s In It For Me” he is still writing and performing today – and the songs on his new album are equally impressive.

Sports & Entertainment Nashville sat down with John Berry at CRS to talk with him about his history in the music business, his family – whom he is very proud of – and his current new album, What I Love The Most.

Some of the songs off the album include, “I Get That All The Time”  – which is reflective of a summer-time driving song where you roll the windows down, turn the radio up and let the wind blow through your hair.

“She’s Mine,” which could also qualify as a driving song, also has an upbeat romantic lyric that can help a guy score some pretty hearty brownie points – as it outlines all the great things his woman is and how he can’t believe…“She’s Mine.”

“What A Woman Wants” is a completely different type of song that has a very straight forward lyric ending with the fact that “what a woman deserves is everything,” and will likely score high marks with its female listening audience.

John is leaving for South Georgia this week to perform a benefit concert for the many victims of the tornado that tore through that area back in January.  Sadly, 22 people lost their lives at that time – and John, originally from that area, wants to do this concert to give back – and in an effort to help those who’ve lost so much.
