Garth Brooks continued his record-setting pace on “The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour” with two sold-out shows at Boise, Idaho’s, Albertsons Stadium, July 19th and 20th. The superstar played to more than 86,000 fans on the two-night stand, setting a new attendance record at the venue and becoming the largest entertainment event in the state’s history.
Fans who attended the Friday night (July 19) show received an extra treat when Blake Shelton took the stage to join Brooks on “Dive Bar,” the pair’s current duet hit. Their performance marked the first time that the two had sung the number live. Shelton also gave an acoustic performance of his smash hit, “God’s Country.” Brooks rocked the Boise crowd with a dynamic set that featured one hit after another, including “The Beaches of Cheyenne,” “All Day Long,” “The Thunder Rolls” and a rousing rendition of “Friends in Low Places.” His Saturday night (July 20) encore consisted of ten songs, closing with “Standing Outside the Fire.”
Since the launch of “The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour,” Brooks has set attendance records in St. Louis, Minneapolis, Denver and other cities.
