CMA Fest

One of the biggest events of the year in Music City, CMA Fest has been taking over Nashville all week long. From meet and greets with your favorite stars, to some of the best in country music performing live shows all over downtown, there is plenty to check out at the festival. Just some of the stars partaking in the festivities this weekend include Martina McBride, Jana Kramer, Michael Ray, Cam, LOCASH, Old Diminion, Charles Esten, Lindsay Ell and countless more.

When: Fri., June 10 – Sun., June 12

Nashville Music Market

The music theme continues with the Nashville Music Market, a truly only-in-Nashville type of event. Hosted by the Society of Leaders in Development (SOLID), this event is any music lover’s dream. Formerly known as the Music Row Yard Sale & Auction, the event presents a variety of music-related items that are up for sale and auction like memorabilia, meet and greets with stars including Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Bryant, autographed instruments from the likes of Tim McGraw, VIP packages from Sara Evans and Martina McBride and much more . Proceeds go toward SOLID’s leadership and education opportunities, Notes for Notes and other organizations.

When: Sat., June 11, 8am – 2pm

 If you’re looking for a different style of music this weekend that doesn’t involve a cowboy hat, the production of “If/Then” at TPAC is a solid alternative. This musical follows the journey of Elizabeth, a middle-aged woman who moves back to New York for a new start. This contemporary piece shows the excitement of living in NYC today and how the decisions we make in life shape who we are. With the story and score by the duo behind “Next to Normal,” Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt, this musical is sure to delight audience members.

When: Fri., June 10, 2pm & 8pm; Sat., June 11, 2pm & 8pm; Sun., June 12, 1pm & 6:30pm

Highballs & Hydrangeas

Soak in the beauty that is Cheekwood while sipping on elegant cocktails at the organization’s Highballs & Hydrangeas event. Indulge in fabulous wines, cocktails and bites from great local restaurants like Cheekwood’s own The Pineapple Room and others including Noshville, Puckett’s, Green Hills Grille and more. Plus, there’ll be live music from Band 24/7 as you enjoy the scenic views that Cheekwood offers.

Admission: $30 in advance, $35 at the door
