Wind down (or shall we say wine down?) from the hectic workweek at a winter wonderland in downtown Nashville. Imitating its sister event, Wine on the River, the winter edition will feature more than 30 varieties of wine, beer and spirits from all around the globe from Kenwood Vineyards, Napa Smith Winery, Kendall-Jackson and Hap & Harry’s Tennessee Beer, just to name a few. While sipping on your beverages, snack on light hors d’oeuvres from Trattoria Il Mulino, Tom and Chee, Nashville Cookie Co. and more.

The Nashville Farmers’ Market hosts the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair tomorrow, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about various programs from farmers both locally and across the region. Check out an in-season cooking demonstration as you explore the many farms that will be on hand including Doe Run Farms, Green Door Gourmet, Easton’s Creek Organics and many more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to try sample seasonal dishes from Bliss Holistic.

The Nashville Flea Market makes its monthly stop at the Fairgrounds this weekend. Explore hundreds of dealers and vendors from all across the country who always bring along antique treasures, vintage goods, art pieces and boutique clothing, among a wide variety of other products. This month’s theme is Romance Junkies – a perfect fit for February. Come explore what Tennessee Magazine has named as the No. 1 flea market in the state.

Today marks the birthday of the famous Man in Black and the Johnny Cash Museum is making it a weekend-long celebration. Over the next two days, the museum will host a myriad of special guests to honor the legend’s big day, including a Q&A session with Cash’s sister and younger brother, Joanne and Tommy Cash, a meet and greet and fan jam with Cash’s longtime drummer WS Holland, plus much more – and that’s just during the day. The evening brings performances by Carlene Carter, Lorrie Davis Bennett, along with Tommy and Joanne, and more. Don’t miss this festive birthday weekend honoring the legendary music pioneer.
