It appears as though spring is about to be sprung here in Nashville, which means warm weather and plenty of events going on in the city. This weekend brings with it a garden show, eclectic performance at OZ Nashville, fine fare and the monthly art crawl. Check it all out below.

Lawn&GardenNashville Lawn & Garden Show

What better way to celebrate the coming of spring than at the Nashville Lawn & Garden Show, taking over the Fairgrounds all this weekend. Learn all about how to transform your garden into a blooming sanctuary from the various free lectures and demonstrations, along with a vendor marketplace, floral design gallery and – of course – lovely gardens. All day Saturday, you can also indulge in the wine festival, which features wine tastings from a variety of wineries and vineyards all across Tennessee.

KidKoalaKid Koala: Nufonia Must Fall Live

In what is sure to be an engaging and enthralling experience, OZ Arts Nashville presents music producer and scratch DJ Kid Koala for a special performance. Tonight and tomorrow, the artist brings to life his out-of-the-box love story between a robot and office drone that was directed by K.K. Barrett, a 2014 Oscar nominee for his work in “Her.” Music and multimedia come together for a unique experience that intertwines live performance with video projection and Kid Koala playing live sound effects and the original soundtrack for the film.

BaconBourbonBeer, Bacon and Bourbon

Drown yourself in three of the finest dining fares tomorrow night with Acklen Park Productions as it presents the decadent social event Beer, Bacon and Bourbon. Sample some of the best local craft brews, a variety of bacon-infused hor d’oeuvres and delicious southern bourbon. There will also be an original exhibition for local home brews, with each one eyeing to be the Peoples Choice Champion.

ArtCrawlFirst Saturday Art Crawl

The first weekend of the month doesn’t just ensue the flip of the calendar; it also means the First Saturday Art Crawl here in Nashville. Make your way downtown to the Historic Arcade and 5th Avenue of the Arts to soak in artistic culture at some of the city’s best galleries. Handmade goods, antiques, contemporary art, photography and much more can all be found during this gallery crawl. This monthly event draws more than 1,000 people, with many of the galleries offering complimentary wine and refreshments.
