After being stuck inside last weekend due to the snowy weather, there is plenty going on this weekend to keep you busy.  What could be better than a weekend full of live performances from some of country music’s top acts – all in one location in downtown Nashville. And the best part? It’s free. All this weekend, check out stars like Dierks Bentley and Kelsea Ballerini at the Outdoor Concert series as part of NHL All Star Week.

YazooBacon me Crazy Dinner – Yazoo Brewery

 With “bacon” in the title, you know it’s going to be good. Tonight, Yazoo Brewing Company presents the “Bacon me Crazy Dinner” in benefit of the organization with a four-course meal – and bacon in every bite. From bacon-wrapped scallops to a steak filet drizzled in barbecue bacon butter, and ending with chocolate-dipped bacon on top of a honey cinnamon cheesecake, your taste buds will surely thank you at the end of the evening.

ZooRunZoo Run Run

Postponed due to last weekend’s winter wonderland, the Zoo Run Run is moving at full steam ahead this Saturday. This family friendly event takes you all around the zoo’s property on a 5K course, including through locations not open to the general public. All proceeds benefit our beloved Nashville Zoo to help care for the more than 2,000 animals that call the zoo home, along with the many educational programs for children.

We all know this beloved children’s story and now you can experience it live in a Broadway performance of the Roald Dahl classic. Watch the story of an imaginative girl come to life on stage with lively songs and musical numbers. The winner of five Tony Awards, the production is sure to thrill all who see it.

SymphonyNashville Symphony – Guerrero Conducts Bernstein

Leonard Bernstein made an iconic score with “West Side Story,” but now hear his incredible music from the film “On the Waterfront,” a 1950s crime drama starring Marlon Brando. Hear even more legendary film music with compositions like Prokofiev’s “Lieutenant Kije Suite” and a violin concerto from Korngold. You’ll also get a taste of Latin culture with a composition from Mexican composer Silvestre Revueltas.
