It is the world’s largest event to display and sell music instruments and music technology and it is held every year right here in Nashville Tennessee. With so many people interested in becoming musicians this is an industry growing in huge numbers. There is no better place for music companies to showcase their new products than right here in Music City, USA.
Many famous musicians attend, some just to check out the new merchandise – others are endorsed by exhibitors. This is the show music families love. It is an event for all ages and it is a great way to learn what’s new. The National Association of Music Merchants is coming to our town July 9th through July the 11th and we are excited to have them.
This event is known to most simply as NAMM and it is like a super large music store where musicians and dealers can come and see the latest music gear in one place. Not only will there be music gear everywhere, there will be workshops going on all throughout this event. Some of the workshops that will take place at this year’s NAMM are The Future of Audio, 10 Tips for Killer Guitar Tone, Leadership in Music (Symposium) Songwriter Fair Trade Panel, 2020 Vision: The Future of Live Performance, The Pedal Summit, Social Media Insider Tips, and the list goes on.
There are many famous musicians who are endorsed by exhibitors and they come to promote their own signature models and equipment. There is no telling who’ll you’ll get to meet just by walking through the door of Nashville’s new convention center. For example, July 11 is music industry day and NAMM’s Acoustic Nation Stage will feature some great music from Dustin Lynch, Tony Lucca, Louisa Wendorff and Sabrina Lentini just to name a few. There are so many exciting things going on at NAMM and we promise you won’t be disappointed if you take the time to attend this year.
Remember, NAMM comes only once a year to Nashville and it connects musicians, songwriters, and artists with music companies who will be exhibiting their new instruments, technology and products. There will be informative workshops and music professionals will have a chance to network with industry people. There will be live performances from different music artists and it is sure to be a great time. So come on down to the Nashville Convention Center and check out this great show.
